Below, you’ll find the key legal terms that apply to everyone visiting our website or using the SEEO application. These terms are in place to protect both you and us, ensuring we can provide a smooth, secure, and reliable service for all our neighbours and local providers. 

Because SEEO offers a variety of features—from smart geo-searching for residents to listing management for businesses—certain parts of these terms might be more relevant to you depending on the specific services you use.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SEEO mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”) operated by SEEO Ltd (“SEEO”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).


By downloading, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Services.

1. About SEEO

SEEO is a community-based platform that allows users to:

  • Search for businesses in their local area;

  • Discover services, locations, and business information;

  • Create and manage business listings;

  • Upload photos, descriptions, and other content related to businesses;

  • Interact with locally generated business information.

SEEO Ltd is registered in the United Kingdom.

2. Eligibility and Age Requirements

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or submit content on SEEO.

Users under the age of 16 may browse publicly available business listings without creating an account, provided they have permission from a parent or legal guardian where required by law.

By creating an account or uploading content, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 16 years old; and

  • You have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these age requirements.

3. User Accounts

You may use certain parts of the Services anonymously without creating an account.

To access certain features, including creating business listings or uploading content, you must create an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current information;

  • Keep your login credentials secure;

  • Be responsible for all activity conducted through your account;

  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access or security breach.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.

4. Business Listings and User Content

SEEO allows users to create, edit, and publish business listings and related content, including:

  • Business names;

  • Contact details;

  • Descriptions;

  • Photos and media;

  • Location information;

  • Other community-generated content.

You are solely responsible for any content you upload, publish, or share through the Services (“User Content”).

By submitting User Content, you confirm that:

  • You own the content or have permission to use it;

  • The content does not infringe any third-party rights;

  • The content is accurate to the best of your knowledge;

  • The content complies with applicable laws and these Terms.

You grant SEEO a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute your User Content for the purpose of operating, improving, promoting, and providing the Services.

You retain ownership of your User Content.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent business information;

  • Impersonate another person or business;

  • Upload unlawful, defamatory, abusive, hateful, or obscene content;

  • Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights;

  • Attempt to disrupt, damage, or interfere with the Services;

  • Use bots, scraping tools, or automated systems without written permission;

  • Upload malware, viruses, or harmful code;

  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users;

  • Manipulate rankings, reviews, or business visibility unfairly.

We may remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion if we believe these Terms have been violated.

6. Photos and Media Uploads

Users may upload photos and media related to businesses.

You must not upload:

  • Images you do not own or have permission to use;

  • Offensive or illegal material;

  • Content containing personal data without consent;

  • Misleading or manipulated media intended to deceive users.

SEEO reserves the right to moderate, remove, or reject uploaded media.

7. Location Services

SEEO uses location information to help users discover nearby businesses and improve search relevance.

By enabling location permissions on your device, you consent to SEEO accessing and using your location data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You may disable location permissions through your device settings, although some features may not function correctly.

8. Anonymous Browsing

Users may search and browse business listings anonymously without creating an account.

Even when browsing anonymously, SEEO may collect certain technical and device information as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Subscriptions and Paid Features

SEEO currently offers its Services free of charge.

In the future, we may introduce paid subscriptions, premium listings, advertising options, or other paid features.

If paid services are introduced:

  • Pricing and billing terms will be clearly disclosed;

  • Additional terms may apply;

  • Users will have the opportunity to review charges before purchase.

Subscription purchases made through app stores may also be subject to the terms of the relevant platform provider, including the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

10. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the Services, including the SEEO name, branding, software, design, logos, and platform content (excluding User Content), are owned by or licensed to SEEO Ltd.

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute our platform or branding;

  • Reverse engineer the Services;

  • Use SEEO trademarks without permission;

  • Create derivative works based on the Services.

11. Moderation and Content Removal

SEEO reserves the right to:

  • Review and moderate User Content;

  • Remove listings or media;

  • Restrict visibility of content;

  • Suspend or terminate accounts;

  • Investigate suspected misuse.

We are not obligated to monitor all content but may do so to maintain platform quality, legal compliance, and user safety.

Your interactions with businesses listed on SEEO are solely between you and the relevant business.

SEEO is not responsible for disputes, transactions, or damages arising from interactions between users and businesses.

14. Availability of Services

We aim to keep the Services available and functioning properly but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may:

  • Modify features;

  • Add or remove functionality;

  • Suspend parts of the Services;

  • Perform maintenance;

  • Discontinue the Services at any time.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SEEO Ltd disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of:

  • Merchantability;

  • Fitness for a particular purpose;

  • Accuracy;

  • Non-infringement;

  • Availability;

  • Reliability.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The Services will be error-free;

  • Listings will be accurate;

  • The platform will always be secure or available.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SEEO Ltd and its directors, employees, affiliates, and partners shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses;

  • Loss of profits or revenue;

  • Loss of data;

  • Business interruption;

  • Reputational damage;

  • Issues arising from user-generated content or business listings.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SEEO Ltd from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Services;

  • Your User Content;

  • Your violation of these Terms;

  • Your infringement of third-party rights.

18. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if:

  • You violate these Terms;

  • We believe your conduct creates legal or operational risk;

  • Required by law;

  • Necessary to protect users or the platform.

Upon termination, provisions that reasonably should survive termination will remain in effect.
